Long time, still not married.

Tara has decided we are now The Walcoffs.

Not sure why it has a "c" as neither of our last names do. It should really be The Walkoffs, but that's like "walk off." So, until the spelling is finalized, I'll just alternate between the two. Hey, if there's "color" and "colour", why not "Walkoff" and "Walcoff"?

I have argued, at various points, that "The Walcoffs" sound like:

*A bad movie: Meet the Walkoffs
*A bad 1970s disco line dance: Do the Walkoff! Da-da-da-dadada-ta-ta
*A law firm: Walcoff & Associates
*A discount department store: "I'll just run down to Walkoff's and get some of those cheap pantyhose I like."

It seems we are actually involved in film and law and there is, indeed, a Walcoff & Associates. It just doesn't get any better than this. See the Google search here.

Since you're already willing to fudge your names a bit (substituting "c" for "k"), how about adding an extra "l" instead, to make the pronounciation clear: Wallkoff? And then there's Walinkoff, which has a nice, solid, ethnic ring to it, don't you think? :) (All this coming from someone named Smith, so consider the source :) .)

"Walkoff -- what you do when you're horny but in a hurry to get somewhere."

I don't laugh out loud very often -- I have a different kind of sense of humor -- but that's the second time today (and it's not even 8:00 am), that a blog made me laugh!
